PTCL Customer Service; What the Heck??????
I can’t understand what PTCL is up to. Sometimes it happens that you wait for an hour for PTCL Customer Service Representative to respond and sometimes it’s like they bug you continuously. I just happen to get land line connection of PTCL a few days back (finally) and from then onward we are getting calls from the PTCL Customer Services asking for the internet connection. There was a lady who called for the first time and she told me about the internet package. I told her that I don’t want to have an internet connection as I already have one. Then after two days I get a call from PTCL Customer Service center and this time it was a guy and he asks me about the internet connection. Again my answer was no thank you.
After 3-4 days I just arrived from my office and got a call from PTCL Customer Services and you can guess very well what that guy might be talking about. INTERNET. Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh, I told him I don’t want to have an internet connection. And then today I woke up by the phone ringing. I attended the call and Taadaaaaaa, it was a call from PTCL Customer Service. There was this lady and she asked me to get an internet connection. Then I ask her don’t you people coordinate with each other. It’s been fourth time I am telling you people that I don’t need an internet connection as I have one. And why don’t you people coordinate rather than bothering the customer. And you know what, she hang on the phone on me. PTCL CUSTOMER SERVICES!!!! Tell you one more thing all these representatives were from the area of Rawalpindi/ Islamabad.
I just want to know is there any commission attached to getting an internet connection for these customer service representatives. I am sure there is, other wise you have to wait for 1 hour for them to respond to your query. A word to concerned authorities who are trying to make PTCL customer friendly please provide them a good system so that they can coordinate with each other and train them about the customer dealing. Let’s not just be all negative, at least they are trying their best to cater the customers but they need to work hard to get it in synchronized.

Off course there is commission involved. They are the sales persons and its their job but I agree with you that there should be a system with which they will be able to coordinate with each other and its not just PTCL. All sales executive do the same. So, be patient and Welcome to the new bothersome world

I guess they have improved their services…Whenever I call them they pick right away …hehe might be i always call them after 12 AM .. but still their services are better now.
