Indian Movies in Pakistani Cinemas: A Disaster
Wed, Aug 5, 2009
Pakistan film industry is defiantly at the verge of collapsing as there are more Indian movies aired in Cinemas than Pakistani movies. Talking about the Rawalpindi Cinemas you will find almost all the new Indian movies to be played in the cinemas. Now-a-days you can find Love Aj Kal, Kambakht Ishq, Luck and New York to be viewed in different cinemas.
Screening of all these Indian movies is playing havoc for the Pakistani Film industry as we can’t see any Pakistani film after “Khuda Ke Liay” to be able to capture the mind of audience. Our film industry is already dying so this will add fuel to the fire if these Indian movies are promoted in Pakistan. I was just wondering how many Pakistani Movies are aired in Indian? I think none. Then why we are promoting Indian movies here?

Most of the movies improted from India, were proved flops, due to there poor scripts and dialoges.
Most of them which I watched in almost emmpty cinemas in Lahore and Karachi. This means u cant attract audience by a made in India tag, people need good entertaintment.
Still if Pakistani film makers try to capture the market they can succed but they need to get rid of Shan, Saima and Syed Noor
