Zong LogoCMPak brand, Zong is now going to charge 10 Paisas + Tax on all balance inquiries on *222# with effect from September 1, 2009. This is always a good method to take extra money out of customer’s pocket because most of the people do not give attention to lower deductions and imagine 5 million users checking their balances daily just one time, will give an extra income of Rs. 500,000/- to Zong.

Here is the message I received from Zong;

Dear Customer. From Sep 01,2009 Balance inquiry request *222# will be charged @10 paisa+t to give you the seamless connectivity on ZONG network

    to avoid cutting money on balance enquiry dial *100# from zong then after a menu will open reply with 2 and after another menu opens reply it with 1 u’ll see ur balance without cutting ur balance.infact it takes 8 to 9 seconds but it remains ur balance as it is.
