For anyone who’s ever needed internet access on a laptop, with no other tools besides the phone in their pocket.It operates with the service provider’s connection the data transfer that you receive is not through wifi but through 3g or gprs or egde.,it only makes your phone a wifi router which means that other devices can use your data plan over wifi, sort of makes your phone a wifi modem. so you can access internet on your notebook or other devices via their wifi.
