 The nation will observe Kashmir day on Saturday 5th feb, 2011 across the country, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir to express complete solidarity with the oppressed people of held Kashmir struggling for their right of self-determination for the last Kashmir struggling for their right of self-determination for the last six decades.People of Pakistan have extended unstinting mora support to the Kashmir freedom movement for the liberation of held valley from the clutches of India.

 The long-standing Kashmir dispute is a threat to peace and stability of this region and a cause of continued tension between the two South Asian nuclear powers South Asian nuclear powers. Present government attaches great importance to early, peacefu and durable solution to the dispute, in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of the people of held Kashmir .The nation is against the unprecedented atrocities committed against more than one million Indian troops are stationed to quell the ndigenous freedom movement. All political parties including ruling coalition partners and people solidarity and unity with their Kashmiri brethren on February 5 for their just cause Shops,markets and business centres will remain closed on this occasion. Seminars will be held to urge the peace loving nations al over the world to exert pressure on India to stop its aggressive policies and allow the Kashmiris to exercise their right of self- policies and allow the Kashmiris to exercise their right of self- determination Co-Chairman Businessman Penal,former federation chief and Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Pakistan Chapter Iftikhar Ali Malik will be chief guest at a function being held in connection with Kashmir day at zonal office of the federation in in connection with Kashmir day at zonal office of the federation in city. The day will dawn with special prayers for the liberation of Kashmir n all principal mosques throughout the country. Newspapers wil channels and radio centres will air special programmes highlighting features of the Kashmir freedom struggle In Lahore, a number of processions and rallies will be taken out from different areas to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren and condemn atrocities against innocent people of the held valley.
