They are buying the one already available. According to a new report, all the hype about iPhone 5 releasing soon is not decreasing sales for iPhone 4 or iPhone 3Gs.
The rumours are that iPhone 5 will be launched in the market sometime in October this year and the sales of the other iPhone models will dip down. Many rumours and predictions have been persistent since the beginning of this year about the next iPhone, but despite this, Apple had a record breaking third quarter of 2011 with 20.34 million phones sold.
The analysts were predicting that Apple will see a drop is phone sales due to these rumours and expectations of the next iPhone, but they have been proved wrong. It is expected that Apple might also introduce a lower-cost version of the iPhone 4 to replace the iPhone 3GS as the budget iPhone.
Despite all the glitches that iPhone 4 might face due to all the hype about iPhone 5, it is still expected to remain one of the best-selling smartphones in the market. However, iPhone 5 is expected to face a tough challenge from Samsung Galaxy S II, next generation of Windows Phone 7 and next Nexus devices to join in the race to take the lead.
