The Mobilink Foundation donated over a thousand school bags to the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF). The bags that were distributed were made out of recycled advertising material and are environmentally safe.
Mobilink Torchbearers, employee volunteers of the largest cellular giant in Pakistan, played a key role in the distribution of the bags at a ceremony organized at the SEF Child Development Center, in Shershah, Karachi.
Not only did the Torchbearers help in distribution but also utilized the opportunity to interact with the young thought leaders and provide their insight about the importance of education.
Omar Manzur, Director Public Relations and CSR, Mobilink highlighted: “The Mobilink Foundation is deeply committed towards making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged across Pakistan, especially our children. The recycled bags allow us to contribute on the dual fronts of protecting our environment, as well as providing children with a durable educational aide. I would like to express my gratitude to the Sindh Education Foundation for allowing us this opportunity to interact with, and make a small difference to the lives of the children at their schools.”
