The conference is of three-days and is being participated by 32 countries from the Muslim World, including Pakistan. There are around 200 members of the union which makes it one of the largest mass media organizations in the world.

The conference will reflect on the current events around the world and their coverage in the mass media. They will also discuss about promoting Islamic awareness through media, so that incorrect perceptions about Islam and Muslims could be cleared in a better way.

The conference also launched the third Film Market promoting the motto ‘Islamic Media, Call of Justice and Awareness”. There are also more than 80 radio and TV networks and distributors who are participating from various countries, which include Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Afghanistan, Palestine, Bahrain, Kuwait, Sudan and Pakistan.

The participating countries will also display latest products and technology in an exhibition arranged by the Conference organizers. Having such a conference is really good both for the countries which are participating and the Muslim World in particular.

It will give them a chance of an exposure and bringing their technological innovations in mass media to the forefront and share their understanding about the issues of mass media in the modern world today. Mass media is expanding every day with a lot of complexities and dynamics.
