There are only speculations about when Microsoft will release Windows Phone 7 Mango. The wait is for an OTA update to being the new operating system to the device. A lot of the rumours said that it will be released on September 15, which is today.
However, apps for the device are being released, the recent one being the Map apps. Although that it did not release today, it might very well be someday in this month. Microsoft revealed its mobile operating system just this year. May be it is not in hurry to get things done, lest they turn out unexpected. But all aficionados of Microsoft are eagerly waiting for its smartphone system to come out.
Since Microsoft is a leader in desktop computing, it might challenge Apple’s iPhone with its operating system. There is already a lot of hype created about it as is usual with any new system coming in the market. But it is too early to say anything about how the new operating system is.
