Apple’s Genius Steve Jobs Passed Away at 56

Apple has reported the passing away of its former CEO and co-founder, Steve Jobs at the age of 56. He suffered from pancreatic cancer in 2004 and had a liver transplant in 2009. Although he had resigned from the post of CEO, but he remained the chairman of the world’s second most valuable technology company, following ExxonMobil. Jobs made an immense impact on how the world today communicate and use technology due to his brilliant innovative and creative genius.


Microsoft’s Bill Gates expressed his sentiments saying that it was his honour to get to work with Jobs and he will be missed by him and others who felt his influence on technology. Even the U.S. President Barack Obama paid tribute to the tech genius along with his wife, Michelle, saying that he was “brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.”

A lot of the other people from the world of technology expressed their thoughts for him on his death and on his life and work that will shape the world for generations to come. Jobs introduced many products while at Apple, including iMac computer, the iPod and the iPhone. It is such a coincidence that he dies just a day after Apple release its newest smartphone, iPhone 4S on October 4.

Apple gave this statement on his death:

“Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.”
