Last year wi-tribe made it way to the top on Broadband providers and awarded Grade A by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) as highest quality and fastest growing Broadband Service provider in Pakistan. That was time when wi-tribe was offering the best services to their customers and almost every one was satisfied with wi-tribe. But gradually with increase in the number of customers they can’t maintain their level and many customers moved to other networks due to slow internet offered by wi-tribe.
Many customers of wi-tribe those we know personally are shifted to Qubee because they are giving them good quality network at competitive price. Now to retain customers for wi-tribe is not an easy job, their network is now fully loaded and they need to upgrade it with increase in the number of customers.
The internet speed of wi-tribe getting slower and slower, 1mb connection gives you download speed of 100kbps + only once and then it come down to 50-60kbps. The downloading speed should remain constant but unfortunately this isn’t happening in wi-tribe, and hopefully this year there will be no award by PTA for wi-tribe to declare them for the best broadband company of Pakistan. Now they need to focus on their network, they gain the maximum number of customers without any up gradation and that’s the main reason for their slowest internet.
I was also the wi-tribe user but from past 5 months they really disappointed me and now i moved to qubee. The speedtest.net result shows major difference in downloading speed of both. Qubee is much faster as compared to wi-tribe and giving constant downloading speed of 120-140kbps in 1mb connection, and in wi-tribe it was 40-60kbps and only once 120Kbps. Now see for how long Qubee can provide best quality network and fast internet, their customers are also growing and this will also affect the internet speed of qubee in future.
Me too moved to qubee, witribe internet is too slow and qubee rates are also less
Ptcl dsl is best, but for wireless you may go for qubee. But after few month same thing will be happened with qubee,their customers are growing as what happened with witribe.Qubee will also slow down now they are attracting new customers by giving them 500off on security and in last month who joined they gave them usb plus half bill for next three months.
So this will also affect the qubee in future.And then you all will be saying goodbye qubee you are too slow :p
witribe is slow but okay for me
Same will happen with Qubee. Both Witribe and Qubee don’t have enough spectrum. Wateen is relaunching in October 15 and has enough spectrum. Inshallah you will see a new Wateen with very high speeds that these other operators cannot match.
If wateen offers same kind of packages than it will make difference..
